gallery hoppin/poutland

Drug Amanda out to Gallery Hop. We looked through some galleries. Nothing too memorable. I got a chocolate banana smoothie. Tried a bit over five mins at the oxygen bar. Wasn't enough to get me a good high. Was still alright, I guess. Had to try it. Amanda was in a bad mood the whole time. We went to Skully's and had drinks. That made her have a good time. Then we went to Blazer's. It's a lesbian owned gay bar. We drank more. They were having Karaoke. I sang Changes, by David Bowie. People clapped and gave me high fives. Said I did really good. Amanda sang Beth, by Kiss. I thought she was true to it. She didn't think so. She got the raspy voice down though.

Went to Poutland, after I dropped her off at home. YEESH! Could they find a more obscure hole in the wall? Gonna be an expensive cab ride to get there and back, if you don't own a car. They used to be so much more accessible. First, go to 660 Harrisburg Pike. It's behind that long mini-mall. Park back there. Walk past the dumpsters, down the long dark alleyway. Then, you're there. The Perry Street address is hanging up, for some reason. Is this Poutland's attempt to go underground again?

Met up with Rachel there. We didn't get to go skateboarding today. Amanda had needed the car. Talked with her a bit. Danced. Met a girl named Elizabeth. She was really nice. Had sort of a Holly Go-lightly type of personality. We danced. She said I was adorable. We exchanged numbers. She said we'll have to get together, especially for one of her dinner parties. Interesting. We'll see.

Was an ok night. I seriously needed to get out the house. Tried my best, to forget my depression.

Do they have a liquor license now? A bunch of people were telling me that they didn't, so there was some kind of crazy $20 cover or something. Clearly that was a lie!

I was told the same thing, by my friend. Also, that after paying $20, you could drink all you want. She seems too honest to lie. I can't be sure though. Maybe that is what she was told. I don't know. But no crazy cover now.
